Color Management

Colour management services enhance the quality and control over colour printing.

Colorzenith, in order to obtain the best colour matching, provides professional colour control both in Large Format Printing (LFP) and in small format photographs. By enhancing tones and contrasts, effecting chromatic corrections, portrait proofing, calibrations and testing the colour file profile, the print quality result is exceptional. This is possible because of innovative machinery and a decades-long work experience in carrying out retouching by hand, like spotting and tinting. Colorzenith provides colour management service to whoever wishes to obtain the best out of every single photograph.

Advice for consignment of graphic files for large format printing

The files can be consigned as open documents complete with fonts and app pictures, such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop or as PDF documents.

For optimal colour portability it is preferable to include in the files consigned – whether pictures formatting – the corresponding ICC profiles.

Moreover, special colours like Pantone Coated can be specified.

The formatted layouts can be supplied in 1:1 ratio or scaled (50%, 25%, 10%). Our graphics managers are at your disposal for any technical information.

Ftp

FTP is the acronym for the term File Transfer Protocol.

Graphic files can also be provided via FTP. This relates to an internet standard enabling sending and receiving files, even large—size files  from remote systems.

This technology enables secure connection, via the internet, to a Colorzenith “Storage” space and to send and receive files containing graphics projects and pictures with complete confidentiality.

The use of an FTP server ensures an accelerated time-frame for sending projects and saves transport costs support items like CD’s or DVD’s.
